Due to legal technicalties and red-tape, the Porthleven Deathrace has been cancelled until further notice. Supposedly you're not allowed to close a public roads for 'illegal' death race's, even in Cornwall! Getting insurance cover for the event has also proved to be pretty much impossible. The team here at PDR are truly gutted about the outcome and apologise to everyone that was looking forward to this as much as we were. Be brave and keep building and hopefully something more official will be organised in the near future.

The Route
Some say it's North Yungas Road's little brother. We say it's the perfect setting for the first ever Porthleven Death Race. One kilometer of vintage Cornish tarmac descending into the Porthleven Harbour's world famous ampitheatre. Beacon Cragg's playful start rapidly falls away to double-black-diamond-death-run past the Reef and finishes at the Ship Inn. We're fucking scared.
